Vande Bharat Express back on track after getting repaired in a single day, see photos

The front part of the engine was damaged due to the buffaloes coming on the railway line. The train left for Gandhinagar after removing the dead bodies within eight minutes and reached its scheduled time.

Vande Bharat Express:The Vande Bharat Express from Mumbai Central and to Gandhinagar in Gujarat was damaged after colliding with cattle on Thursday morning.However, this train has been rectified within a day at the Coaching Care Center.In this collision only part of the front of the train was damaged.The picture of the Vande Bharat Express had gone viral soon after the accident at around 11.15 am on Thursday.People are commenting in different ways.

Some Congress leaders questioned the quality of the Vande Bharat Express made in India.Congress's Nitin Agarwal posted a picture of PM Modi's inauguration of Vande Bharat Express and a viral picture after yesterday's accident.Aggarwal captioned it - "As soon as you leave the house... after walking some distance...."

The Vande Bharat train between Mumbai Central and Gandhinagar was inaugurated by PM Modi on 30 September.

Western Railway spokesperson Jitendra Kumar Jayant said, "Vande Bharat Express running between Mumbai Central and Gandhinagar Capital stations had left Mumbai in the morning. The front part of the train's engine after colliding with some buffaloes on the track at around 11.15 am. It got damaged. The incident happened between Vatva and Maninagar areas of Ahmedabad.

Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway said, "The driver of the train was fully alert. He immediately whistled the train and applied the brakes, but the response time was short."Work is being done to increase the speed of Gandhinagar-Ahmedabad section train up to 160 kmph and avoid such incidents in future.
